Looks what my wife ordered... UPS guy pulled up and honked handed me this box and I'm like what the heck is in this box a dead animal? He laughed pointed to the side and said nope 25lbs of cranberries. I said oh I'll take these

Its by overwhelming insistence and a little poking & proding she's canning more cranberry juice.

Sliced out my name and address... Lots of creepers on the internet.

Wife said 25lbs for $45 - way cheaper than in the store.

So you got 25 lbs of cranberries what do you do with all them cranberries? Well you get started on making canberry juice and cranberry orange zest bread

I need to clone three or four more of me to have enough hands working around here to keep up with all of the great ideas found on this site! YOU, my dear, have a fabulous wife!

We love cranberrys too! They're fabulous with apples and cinnamon in slow cooked steel cut oatmeal, and also in apple pie. They're great as jelly, dehydrated, or as juice. And they're high in iodine (which I'm deficient in) so I try to drink or eat some most days. What's not to love in cranberries?!?

@CrealCritter Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I have about 10 pounds of cranberries ready to can and your directions don't include some important info - how long does your wife process the cranberry juice in the water bath canner?

I wonder if the berries, when strained out of the juice would have any flavor left to add to cranberry bread?
