Im sorry it failed again.


You have me thinking about stuff though.

I wish I could remember what book I saw the recipe for yeast carbonated root beer soda. Little to no alcohol and it was fermented in bail bottles.

I wonder if you could just cheat and use the starter recipe and add carbonated water to it for a root beer soda?

I wish you luck on your next attempt.

That surely would be an option adding sparking CO2 injected water. But I'm stubborn ole coot.

You hit on my next "plan" boil it up, cool it down, pitch the yeast and bottle immediately. I'm going to do a small 1/2 gallon batch as a test run first though because I already know I'll need to cut way back on the fermentables.
