Took my grand daughter antique shopping. Meet my newest tool a 3 1/2" wide Shipbuilders chisel. I'll most likely be using it as a slick though. It's about as big as my grand daughter.

Sweet. I have fond memories of the planes with the knob on the front. My dad was always using one of those. What is a slick?

I think its called a slick because if used as a slick it makes the timber slick, smooth, silky... It can also double as a big ass chisel if needed.
