Dad used to brew for fun.... hmmm I wonder if he's got his brew equipment still, it'd be fun to take a crack at brewing sometime i think

Lol, like all the random hobbies we don't drink too much round the house, but it is something I think would be a fun know how
Also wow! Your going for all of that?? Your gonna be making a lot of bubblies n brews!
Ooh, I'll have to check it out. I'm more of a hard liquor and fruity tasting drink person, beers usually too 'yeasty' and 'hoppy' for me but house spouse likes beer so if he's interested we'll definitely be trying itIf you like a good wheat beer I have an original recipe and instructions here ---> https://www.sufficientself.com/threads/pic-heavy-my-golden-american-wheat-ale-beer-recipe.16110/
If you're making your own beer, you can use less hops- they were used as a preservative back in the day. Might be why IPA is so hoppy; India is a hot climate, and we're talking about no refrigeration
O! I didn't know that it was used as a preservation!! So there could be a beer I like out there! Yay! Would altering the amount of hops mean the recipe cook time would need to change?? I don't have a lot of experience or knowledge for brew stuff, wasn't interested or welcome to assist with brewing when dad was interested in it lol
