More than 2 million pounds of chicken is being recalled because the poultry "may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal,"

And they wonder why we like to raise and eat our own chickens.

i just finished off the last bowl of chili from the batch we made last week. the ground beef had more than the usual number of bits of bone in it. makes it rather annoying breakfast to say the least...

as for the chicken. you'd think with the price of it all that they'd have an x-ray detector for metals at the end of the line right before packaging. 2 million lbs, is a lot of $. wonder who's nuggets gonna get that when they recycle it...
