Mrs Clause got me a telescope, it came in last week. Now I just need to put it together. It's not a novelty or professional one, It's more like an adult starter telescope. It also I came with a cellphone mounting bracket. So you can use a cellphone camera for viewing or picture taking. This is in addition to normal viewing through the lens.

I really hope I can get a clear view of what, I've been seeing for years now. I've came to the conclusion that I believe it to be a drone, but it would be nice to get a clear picture of it.

The telescope should be fun with the grand kids and looking at the surface of the moon, planets, etc... Once I get it put together and use it a few times, I'll give you all a review.

Good luck with your new telescope!!

I got a telescope for Christmas one year, it was a really nice one and I was so excited to use it. It has 3 different optical lenses and is somewhat computerized to be able to turn itself to the right place.

I got to use it a couple of times before we moved to Wyoming. Once we got to Wyoming, it was too windy to use it, it was shaking all the time and I couldn't see anything but blurry. It sat in its box in the spare bedroom closet for years. Now that we are back in Wisconsin, it seems the move was too much for it and I can't get it to work at all.

I still need to assemble mine. It's not fancy like yours.

You know... I often thought to myself that I might apply for duel citizenship. the USA and Wisconsin but I ended up abandoneding that thought altogether 🤣
