DH was getting rid of some old eggs that we had stored in pickling lime. Somehow, he managed to spill some of the liquid, when some of the eggs broke in the jar. Some of the chickens moved in and started pecking at the egg mixture that was mixed with the lime. Am I gonna have a bunch of dead chickens?

Calcium hydroxide is used as an antidote for tannin poisoning in a couple species (goats, rabbits, cows). So I would assume the chance of corrosive injury is dose-dependent.

i agree with the idea that it really depends upon how much, but stomach acid should neutralize any basic foods to some extent. if they're eating other things and getting water i'd not worry too much.
