Oh, I can HARDLY WAIT! :idunno 🤣 :old:pop. So much fun.

This takes time to collect...but almost immediate results. đź‘Ť @tortoise you cheat with DH a vet! But goat pee easier to collect than sheep....I'd think.

i have no idea, i've never been around either of them enough to know how they do their business... y'all have much more patience than i do for this that is for sure. :) i'm impressed!

Pulling blood isn't all that hard with lots of practice. It's the practice that my goats object to, lol!

(Ok - just kidding. When you get that vein to pop up it's really easy to hit. It's about as big around as your thumb.) It is much easier with a helper and with DH's back issues right now he's not up to it. Heck, maybe I should hold and let him do the draw. He IS a nurse after all, lol. One time....way back when...before I learned to do it myself, he actually drew blood out of a Nubian's ear for me. That's a much smaller target to hit!

i did some time in the trenches at OkCupid but it turned out to be a waste of time and more frustration than anything. a lot of fake profiles and people who would "say hi" but none who would actually go on dates. once i found a girlfriend i deleted my account/profile and never looked back. two years later after we broke up i didn't really care to go back into that mess again and haven't.

hermit life is much more my speed - i just don't deal well with drama (and the older i get the less of it the better).

Internet romance! That’s a big help rather than hoping for some random meeting.
My eldest daughter was worried about my Internet Creeper Friends. When I was going to meet Wifezilla and her family, my daughter (big crime scene shows TV Fan), was like "what if they are ax murderers".. my response ..."maybe I am the ax murderer"

Meeting my now wife was a loosely planned setup by my friend.

Musta been one of those "meant to be" things.

Internet meeting worked for me then - but I don't think it's quite the same now days. Too many scammers and ... other unsavory characters out there now.

i used to have two different groups of people who'd regularly schedule events in places and we'd all rent a big house, get a block of rooms at a hotel or go camp at someone's cabin and hang out for a week or two. it was a way to visit places i'd never have likely done otherwise.

the oddest one was up in Edmonton in the middle of the Fall. long drive, but i got to see the Canadian Rockies (i drove across from Seattle), Vancouver BC, visited my ex-gf in Portland, saw friends in Minnesota it was a long trip though. was glad to be back home... :) when i came back across the border into the USoA it was a very remote spot and nobody was at the crossing station at all. i had no idea what i was supposed to do so i stopped, looked around, saw that nothing was posted about what to do, so kept on going... it was very strange to me... :)

that was also the trip where as i was going across Canada through the Rockies on this remote highway and i was listening to the radio and they were talking about some crack down on the Hells Angels and a day later as i'm going along the highway a long line of motorcyles went by me and it was the Hells Angels. i'm there in my little Honda hoping they don't do anything and i certainly didn't look too closely at them and it was one of those "If I don't see you then you can't see me!" wishes. luckily they did just keep on going by and ignored me. the scaredest moments on that trip for sure.
