40s Wednesday. The squirrels had an all out brawl at the feeder early yesterday. Haven't seen them since. Lots of little birds feasting this morning, so relaxing to watch.

I’m back home this morning. Was going to leave sister’s house last night, but she was worried about Kamakazie deer plowing into my little car, so I left before dawn this morning. Said my goodbyes last night.

I’m a BAAAAAD sheep and dog mommy. I had to have COFFEE before going out to feed, bust ice and tote water from the horse water trough. I’m an even worse mommy because I’m on my second cup of coffee.

It was 21F here last night, currently 32F with high of 54F today. Wednesday’s low will be 33F with high of 68F. The freeze will be over! @Mini Horses im with you on this ice, low temperature, fortunately no snow-this time! Higher temperatures are on the way for you!

I’ll turn water back on today and see if I have busted pipes. Hot water pipes froze up. Sink full of dirty dishes, dried food, yuck. All bed sheets need washed, week of granddaughters and son here. Everything is a mess. But it’s good to be back home.

Its exactly 30 degrees warmer this morning at 7 than it was two mornings ago. The roads of ice are melted now.

it was mostly ice driving yesterday.

today we took an alternate route back home to use more highway and main road driving so only the last 10 miles were more ice. just took my time and we got there and back safely.

always glad to be home.

now i'm getting warmed up and ready for a nap as usual i don't sleep well at a place i've not been very long. so... zzZ soon...

I'm happy y'all are thawing out! Pace yourselves- you don't have to wash everything in one day!

I have single digits today, and then "warm" weather for a week or so! I plan to walk outside.

Turned water on, no busted pipes, I have hot water! Cleaned sink of piles of dirty dishes from trying to keep kids fed.

Good Afternoon I slept way late into the morning. I woke to a couple of inches of fresh snow. Raked the coals in the wood stove, tossed a few pieces of split logs in, nice a toasty now.

It's overcast, 35 degrees and breezy. I shoveled off the sidewalks.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with the rest of my day. But whatever it is, I will do my imperfect to be led by the Spirit and enjoy the day.

We lost power last night as we're on the Kapowsin substation that was broken in to. It was on fire. They restored power within a few hours and then this morning it went off again. Im assuming for better repairs.
