Good Morning all! What am I doing up so early you ask? Well, I sleep with KING SIZE blanket bed hogs (that goes for FH and the dogs) plus wanted to get started on the prep here in the house but FIRST COFFEE and wake up.

Is the tent up?

Nope, FH didn't get home until after 8 last night seeing how he had to stop at a store to get rest of stuff we needed for today. It's going to be put up later this AM though seeing how a couple of our friends are supposed to come down the street around 8. I wasn't going to attempt to tackle that project by myself yesterday.

4:15, coffees ready, dogs are fed,
and it is a fall feeling 47 out how weird is that! and by 4pm we are said to be 85/90

Boy dog, he is 1/2 asleep and the sun from the window is in his eyes, he thinks he is a lap dog

I was very thirsty last night. I drank a lot of water then went to bed. I got up several times to go pee. Then I overslept intentionally, it felt good and all

Beautiful morning here. Had to run to the county seat to renew the car tags.

washing towels from yesterdays dog hair episode,
putting together, turkey, carrots, green beans, potatoes, cilantro onions, celery and green cabbage --took a loaf of homemade bread out of the freezer, = food for the day. Cabbage is so good for you.

Then going to the garden more green beans to pick, tomatoes, and I'll pull up the parsnips, get them ready to can.

looking for enough to ferment 70 shredded lbs for kraut. kind of shocked how much we eat and give away. We fermented 70 lbs last year, farmbabe informed me we are down to the last 3 quarts, she was really concerned about it. I think she is hording those last three quarts
