What's for dinner?

i've been in hog-heaven this past week with most of a pan of lasagna to eat up. i think the last bit of it is today's brunch in a few minutes. :)
Lasagna is a huge favorite over here. I like to make extra and freeze it in single serving squares so anyone can have some whenever they want.

Prime rib roast for dinner tonight. I scored an amazing markdown from a really nice sale price yesterday.

Oh my - that prime rib looks delicious!

I pulled some turnips today from the garden. The turnips aren't huge (but they needed thinning) but the greens are gorgeous. I'll probably cook them tomorrow - but I've never cooked them before in my life. I've made collards plenty of times though. Anyone have tips on cooking turnip greens????

i've never. not that i don't want to, but i tend to eat the sprouts very young to thin and then after that i leave them alone to gather as much light as possible for the growing plant. from what i do remember "boilt until dun wit bacun or other smoked fatty hog bits" might be the obvious answer, but i'm not looking things up at the moment because if i do i get too distracted and then waste too much time doing other things i didn't really go there for (which is kinda what reading/writing this message to SS is taking care of for me too ;) )...
