Beautiful evening. Ground too soaked to mow. Spent about 90 minutes puttering around outside until the back started hurting. I am not in my 20s anymore

FB and I cleaned out the coop. It was pretty easy with a plywood floor. The coop was good and dry even though It's sopping wet out there. In all honestly we haven't dried out since the 12 inches of rain flooding. It's rained pretty consistently since then and enough to keep the ground wet. We are on our 4th mow and the are still a few spots too wet to try and mow without getting the mower stuck.

I slept past 6 this morning. On second cup of coffee. Those Pilates I’m trying to learn have left me with sore tummy and back muscles so I guess they are working. My daughter from another mother and I are working on our physiques so we can be bikini babes on our trip to Greece in September 2026. She’s going to the gym 3 times a week and has lost 12 pounds. I’m working out at home, learning Pilates.
Carson is very worried about me.

Mom! Are you ok? Do I need to call 911????

You never taught me how to call 911!! What do I do now??

i planted two small rows of peas yesterday and weeded part of that garden... i got a ways to go before i'm back up to speed. who would think that laying around all winter breathing would let me get so far out of shape? ok, ok, i did shovel a few times and do some exercises, but apparently not nearly enough...

Ugh...glad we're done with that but the tradeoff is that we'll be really hot really soon.
