Tank woke this morning and must have said I ain't gonna listen to a thing he tells me. He rolled around in a mud puddle, then rolled some more and just because he was there, he rolled around in it again. All while I'm telling him NO!.

Then he got the "zoomies" and ran all over the place 🙄 I gave him a bath of course. I think he's sorry, he's been good every since. Might be a little childhood rebellion going on... he's like 8 dog years old or so they say.

Raining -- so glad I mowed the yard yesterday!! Several days of rain coming.
Just before dusk the winds died down yesterday. So I managed to get the fruit trees sprayed, I included a spreader sticker, hopefully my spary will stick around during the rain. FB told me rain for a week Friday to Friday. Good Lord the ground is already saturated. We'll see what becomes of it I suspose.

Oh brother. I am a doofus with too much on my mind. 5 hours into my adventures outside today, work on the new butterfly garden, stuff trimmed up, garden work, and mowing. Mind you, the grass is about 2 feet tall. Because I was out of my usual mowing pattern and the tall grass, I lost track of one of the last lawn obstacles from the previous owner (septic cover with two big rocks). I was getting tired and didn't trim around it first, should have gone full stop before I hopped on the tractor. But no, now I have an inoperable mower deck beyond my ability to repair.
Damage not as bad as expected, fixed up,and they tested it. Should get it back soon. And way cheaper than we imagined

I suppose the rain started a day early. All of a sudden it just down poured big rain drops. Took me by complete surprise, because I had no advance notice and it came out of no where. I was on the mower and got soaked by the time I made it to the barn. Rain lasted a little while and I finished up mowing. I don't like to mow wet grass, because it sticks to the deck. But I really had no choice, at least that's done now.

If it doesn't dry out soon I may have to start talking cajun and think about getting some gators.
