Great Uncle had one of those train to saddle way back when. Had a small herd of them that was kept. Mom says great aunt still has a few there. Her 1st cousin's husband will probably keep them, too. He runs the farm now.

Yesterday I had my one doe -- who consistently gets her head stuck in the fence -- stuck again. She was also elusive when I was giving out dewormer the other day. Bingo!! She got hers before I helped turn her head to get the horns back thru. That'll teach you! Opportunity.

Stiff & sore this morning -- slept mangled, apparently. Stretches helped some. Took an Aleve because I don't have time for this!! Surely it's not age !? Naaawh. Just muscle annoyances. Don't think wrestling goats yesterday helped. Those little guys can sure put up a fight! Adults are much easier.

I'll be fine in another hour -- about the time I arrive at work.

i'm very thankful that i am usually ok, i don't sleep great but i'm not in a lot of aches and pains.

glad things got better.

vegetate is an interesting word - i'm hoping to do some of that here today...

my back doesn't usually like it when i'm trying to pull out weeds that don't want to come out easy. yep, i can feel it this morning. breakfast will be here soon and i'm thinking a few ibuprofens will be good to go along with it to head off this particular problem. i don't normally use meds, but once in a while it's really helpful.

Up way too early but wide awake and feeling rested. Slept well last night. Had a toasted English muffin spread with goat cheese & figs I'd previously canned. Tasty & healthy. Coffee accompanied

Worked jobs yesterday & will for half day, today.

Sprinkles off & on yesterday -- here & there as I drove a long. Some here after dinner as I went out to milk. Just can't get things dry for very long. Expect a lot somewhere in the Wed/Thur range, thanks to hurricane Erin passing by. Maybe I can see grass dry enough to mow yard late today.
