Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Not my picture, but I do miss it.

Jesus is my Lord and Christ ✝️

Summer T-storms in Eastern Oregon. Watching the lightning stretch clear across the sky.

Just rain we'd play in as kids. Rain didn't happen often and wasn't heavy. 9 inches annually, most Dec-Feb as freezing rain or snow.

Mom who hasn't seen the downpours brought in by tropical storms can't comprehend what I mean about traffic just stopping because can't see the end of the hood, much less the taillights of the vehicle in front.

Here with rain I just sigh and throw a hood up and change jackets as needed for 9 months of the year normally. We need the rain right now. Rainforest is still on fire

I like to sit on the porch & watch a soft rain, late spring or early summer. Not cold weather, not t-storms. The doze off to soft sounds kind. 😉

We've had several days of overcast, mist & sprinkle here. It's depressing. I like our normal sunshine days, rain days, very defined weather days. This year has been strange with several unusual spurts of weather in my area. No drought, thank you! But since we have had these oddities I'm concerned we won't have our "normal" milder winter season. Wait & see.

Starting today with my usual hot coffee. Daylight soon. Then chores. Then off to work -- last day for this week. Too wet to work outside here anyway.
