Same... I look at them at times...but usually go "eh, what do they know? Probably nothing."
And, they were wrong again, lol. At least right here on the home front we had a lot of thunder, some lightening, a little rain and virtually no wind. There might be a little more out there but so far not much to talk about...

Suggesting 88 today, was that yesterday. We had cooled, then this week of hot, now heading back to a lovely 70-75 after today. Our little reminder of summer heat before jacket weather comes & stays. A system passing might give us rain tonight, nothing big. It's fine, could use a few drops for ground. All in all, just decent fall starting. So far hurricane season has been quiet for us.

Been shopping hay -- yikes $$ -- and availability.

Might have to "tolerate" my local guy this year. 😖 He's got it, I watch him bale!

We got a second round of weather early this morning. Lots of thunder and lightning again, but this time there was a lot of wet stuff with it. Three inches in the rain gauge. That's quite enough thank you! Waiting for the cool weather that's supposed to be out there somewhere.

Is his hay weedy?
Nope. Well kept fields. It's just him, personally.

He dislikes a pickup load sale. He likes 200-400 at a clip. Not wanting any look & pick types. Well, I ain't buying what they won't eat. He's testy...he's not a salesman. His son is better.

Grrrrr! I had a guy like that once. I was buying round bales and he asked me how many I wanted. I told him probably 15ish. He was good with it until I told him I could only haul 3 at a time. He was like - I'm going to have to load you up at least 5 times. Well.... yes. I mean he lived right there, cut the hay in his own field. His tractor lived there too. I told him I would be fine to be loaded at his leisure. Guy never returned my call again. JERK!

Same here!! Hay in barns right here. Equipment to load. He's got barns across the street -- all stuff there. Hay in barns at his house 1/4 mile, same Rd, equipment there. Just not me who's had the same business dealings. 😵‍💫🙄. Yeah, he wants big buy & no questions. He will deliver. Volume sales give him a one day, one person contact. He likes 1-2 a wk. Plenty of hay!!! It's just not easy handling for me. If price was really 👍 but, more average. We'll see!!

He has no livestock. 0nly grow & sell.
