Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

least makes it easy to warm up some food and hot drinks if needed.
I've certainly used it that way! Very nice if power goes out. Plus the stone surround absorbs heat to share back into the room, so there's efficiency in that. And it looks nice. 😊 Electric bill way down when I use that for heat. But propane can be $$.

I keep a CO2 detector in the room.

Yikes! Hope you're ok and that's the one and only for the season!
That would be nice. At least it is in the PAST! That fall was in 2025, maybe 2026 will be better!

Also... every time I fall... doesn't that make my bones stronger?

I got bruised, but I cracked the water pitcher I was holding to take water out to the chickens! Poor pitcher now leaks almost as bad as a sieve!

Absolutely!

Poor pitcher, lol. At least you came out of it in better shape than the pitcher did!

Another cold night & normal winter 45*. Predicted to be upper 50s all week, starting tomorrow :clap it'll be great!

But, I'm cleaning & checking the propane stove then. Getting ready to turn it on next weekend. Our winter will be hitting hard after that. It's always been so -- sure this year will be same. Hate winter cold.

Also kids will be popping out. The cold is a real concern then but, it's another annual happening. I'm ready but always some anxiety about it. After all these years, still 😂😵‍💫🥶

Weather forecast is for something like 83...if reached it will break another record. I'm not complaining about the perfectly wonderful weather we're having - but I do not understand it! We need rain too...

I'm trying desperately to get outside projects completed while we are in this fantasy weather pattern, lol!
