I do like this. The cats would tear any plants up, based on their track record with the limited number of things we've tried growing in the house so far

There is a church in my area doing the indoor tower hydropontics. They provide the fresh food as part of a regular food giveaway for locals needing assistance. It's been very productive for them. They have 12 towers working and hope to expand.
