When are the chicks due to hatch?

OK< she is back in the brooder cage, she has had her 5 eggs since the 6th. All the other hens are upset with her cuz she was in their favorite nesting box. so I didnt want a fight and her eggs get smashed, I moved her.




she gets up to get a drink and then sits back down.
If I get 5 chicks or none its all good.

I had to move my broody yesterday as another egg went missing. Think rat got them.

She's in the hutch. She just stood there for about 10 minutes being huffy when I moved her. Brought out some shredded cheese and she gobbled it then went and sit on the eggs. She know you get treats if you're by the house.

She's a good broody. Her holding out for a treat made me laugh. I'll be buying a few EE chicks to go along with the silkies.
