Last month while we were on vacation my mom saw a mushroom, picked it and cooked it. We ate it for dinner AND we didn't die.

We also picked some skullcaps - POISONOUS! :sick
I threw them away. Guess we will stick with puffballs.
I just found 300 beer bottles outside the recycling center dumpsters.
I have NO IDEA what to do with 300 beer bottles, but we'll see.
If all fails I can just return them!

That sounds like the excuse I plan to use if anyone asks me why I'm taking glass wine bottles out of the recycling center dumpster - I was helping my grandma clean and accidently threw out a precious antique glass bottle!

I love butter. My Dad, being the scientist he is, did an experiment one time with a tub of margarine.
He left a tub of margarine and butter, in a similar tub, out in the sun for a week. Checked the temp. and did observations daily.

My upright freezer is full and I have so much stuff coming in from the garden right now, so I really needed another freezer.
I was looking at new ones in the stores, but my dad told a friend that I was looking for a freezer.
They gave me their freezer for FREE!!!

I'm building one out of 2 old windows from my dining room.
