Save some of various sizes to make a hobo cooking stove for your emergency kit , or camping. They will burn twigs, solid fuel tablets , or homemade fuel made from paraffin and cotton balls. We also use them for feed measures which has already been posted...:)

I have been at work for the last 13 hours and have not been able to stay very up to date on the events with the natural disaster, and the reactors but I am gathering thing are still out of hand there. I feel worried for those folks over there, many have missing family members and loved ones...

It certainly is a major disaster, the last thing they need now is anymore problems with those reactors that's for sure and for certain. I am sure the Japanese gov is preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. That is what we all should be doing daily.

I hear they are doing it as a precaution, being extra careful which is the wise thing to do. It is just my opinion, plus I went on MIT website and read an article written a day or so ago by a nuclear physicist . I will go back and get the link. Why is our media so focused on the nuke plant...
