We are in the Central Valley of California, in the foothills. Have a 1/2 acre of land. Currently we have a flock of 8 two year old hens for egg's, another 15 chicks in the brooder to add to the flock. I started beekeeping last year and at this time have one hive, but hope to expand that next...
