It rained all around us yesterday evening. When I say all around us, that's exactly what I meant. Not a drop fell here and we are starting week 8 with no measurable rain. Needless to say, it's bone dry. My neighbor is getting combine ready to start harvesting.

Flag raised full staff yesterday eve. Don't be fooled by the rain clouds, not a drop of rain fell from them. You can see the bean field is all brown and ready to be harvested soon. It ain't going to grow anymore.


Moo Crew is doing well... We have 8 head on the pasture now. 3 cows, 2 hefier calves, 2 steers and romeo the bull. As you can see bessey is as friendly as ever. We've been putting heightened awareness on keeping the water full and hay in the ring. You can see the pasture is brown from when I bush hogged it last week. I left the bottom pasture standing for them to graze. Once cool season grasses start to grow again, I'll bush hog the lower pasture.


None of that other stuff is of much importance...

However Luke Chapter 6, now that's a tough one.

I can assure you, while they can do that, they don't. Well when belching up cud to chew, maybe. But when scoffing down food, it doesn't happen.

Plus, I've never burped 30 times in any day. Really? Can't believe anyone does. IDK.
