Recently I had a weak moment and bought a "crop cover" to try, once again, to grow some bug free tomatoes. I wanted to get it assembled and into place today, so I got started on it. It wasn't terribly hard to put together, even though I wonder about its sturdiness. Time will tell, I guess...

We spent a chunk of the day with DS and DDIL. They grilled burgers for us. It was a nice day!

Happy Mother's Day! Up and at 'em this morning. First cup of coffee almost done and will be headed for another soon. Not only is it Mother's Day, but it's my son's b'day. We will get together in the early afternoon and have a low-key celebration. Gonna grill some burgers and watch a movie...

DH asked me when the radishes would be ready. Oops! Totally forgot... Stuck seeds in the ground today.

I have done that in the past, but my source of chips is no longer available. I still use cardboard and/or feed bags but tend to top them with old hay now since that is my most abundant source of material. :)

In the past week or so I've trimmed around the raised beds. I'd like to get those paths mulched, but before I do that I need to mulch the beds themselves.

Cup #1 going now. Need more - lots more.

Gate posts. I have a couple that need to be replaced and gates rehung. It's a big job and I've been avoiding it for a couple of months (like 6 maybe). Ugh.
