i do understand that too. i heard one of the most frightening thing today from a fellow sailor " if something bad happens I'm coming to your house" this was not a good friend or a trusted co-worker.

We are looking to upgrade to nicer heavy molds for loaf soap Hot and Cold process. What do you suggest for a set of working molds? 1-5 lbs non stick liner? What's your work horse? We have an opportunity to sale soap at a friend's store but our recycled molds ( half gallon and quart milk cartons)...

Your oil extractor (steam) is a pot still with a raised tray. You add in clean water then the tray fill it with your plant matter snuggly and close it up. The steam will push through the plant taking oils with it then it will condense in the coil or worm and oil water will drip out you run it...

I don't have a pressure canner yet. We don't know if we are going to can at all it a test run to see if we want to do it. The water bath set up was a freebie.

I plan on doing a marinara sauce today do I need to fully cook it first or partial cook it before water bath canning. I do have citric acid and vinegar on hand.

As of today garden is doing good, I picked up some corn, early tomatoes, zucchini, greens, eggs and cukes. Spent the morning breaking down the greens and vacuum sealed them, dried some lemon thyme, and lemon balm. DM & DYS are flying in in 40 mins, looking forward to the visit. I'll post pics...
