It is soooooo good! Yummy!
I canned 6 pints and 4 half pints of banana butter.
The bananas were 99 cents for a HUGE bag. I bought 2 bags.
And 11 pints and 8 half pints of peach salsa.
Walmart had peaches for 78 cents a pound!
Well.......my Mom works with post tramatic brain injury patients that have um, problems in that area and they use 'condom catheters'.
I know it sounds gross!!
But they are washable/reusable and very sanitary.

Does anyone have a baked bean recipe that would work for canning?
I tried to make baked beans, with a low temp oven method, but they were too watery and even after 2 days of cooking they were still crunchy. And I pre-soaked the beans. :hu
That sounds like my neighborhood.
I've given jam, fruit and veggies to my neighbors and when they gave me some leaves for my garden (grudgingly gave them after I asked for them) I brought that neighbor a thank you card and cookies.
They wouldn't give me any leaves this year!!
