And guess what? After all of my meal and grocery trip planning that I have been doing, we still have food left for both dinner and breakfast!! I could probably get creative on lunch and figure something out for that too :D
:lol: Usually we don't have left overs either, but since pork chops are in my meal plan twice for this two week period, I cooked a big batch YAY!!!

Whew I would call A/C a definite must have here in Oklahoma on some days...we get stretches of days where the elderly pass away from the heat because it's so bad. The wind that Oklahoma is so famous for pretty much vacates for the summer, and on the rare occasion...

I have been wanting to use a fan to cool the house as well, and didn't know there was such a thing as a whole house fan. I'm not sure it would be beneficial for us here with this climate, but I imagine even if we could keep from using the AC 5-7 days...

on the nutmeg, if there is already nutmeg called for in the recipe would substituting half nutmeg for the cinnamon be too much nutmeg, or is it just a go by taste sort of thing?

When I was little, I loved asparagus! We had it growing "wild" in our backyard and I loved it! Then when my parents started mowing it down and bought...
That is such a good point also!! I try to shop in the morning also when there are less crowds. It's less stressful and I am less prone to make "exceptions" lol I also make it a point to not take my children grocery shopping. It just ends in disaster and I never end up with everything I need...
