You sure are getting your share of rain and cool weather. For the past week, we have had summer temps in the upper 80's with chances for afternoon thundershowers. I would like to see some rain, though. Our corn is coming up and could use a good drink.

We are in the mid 60s today and are supposed to be back up in the upper 70s, low 80s tomorrow and this weekend with a chance of storms off and on. I am planting the garden seeds today and tomorrow so I'm glad it is warming up again.

I scrambled some eggs with some garlic in it and the flock was fighting over it! I am going to try to get my hands on some BOSS and pumpkin seeds and I have someone from my area getting me some food grade DE next month. Thanks again for all your help! Found 3 dead worms this morning.

We haven't noticed it and none of my egg customers have ever complained. But we only give garlic to the flock about once a week or once every week and a half.

Glad you didn't incur any extra expense on the water pump.

I know what you mean about running into someone at the store. I get to talking and POOF!, my day is gone.

It's raining here, too. We have a flood watch through Monday. I should've gotten the rest of my garden out when I had the chance.

Keljonma- I need to bring a dish to a pot luck and thought of all your posts. Do you have any suggestions for an unknown number between 50-85, consisting of of college age and middle age co-workers?

Deviled eggs, salsa & chips, brownies and potato salad are spoken for.
I'm sure coleslaw and baked beans are on it by now.

Spent all day at the ER with DH, my mind is jello.
