Is there anywhere else for the cat to live? I feel like with it living with the chickens in th first place, if it can't get out to hunt, will be very temped to attack a chicken. Especially if it gets bored.
We have friends who let there rabbit out with the chickens in the day time, just not at night. I am sure it would be fine, Silkies are a docile breed anyway so that is a plus. yo would have to warm them up to the rabbit, but eventually, I bet the rabbit could sleep in the coop with them at night...
So, I have had this question, is it possible, to sew a scarf for a duck that sits up on there necks so that the drake wont pull out there neck feathers? It would have to attach to the top of the head somehow right, so that it wouldn't slide down there neck. And it would have to be super light...
Thanks everyone! I don know if any of you are bakers, but if you see my signature, I have a recipe for a dessert of the week going! And a thread about it you can post on!
Your right, I knew that anything I built wouldn't be that durable. My only other issue, is that, we mature our horses, with run in sheds. They don't go in stalls, so you would just have to get all the balls out of the pasture before it rains. I was hoping to solve that problem, but, DIYing it...
@more_frosting what happened? Are you on BYC, backyard chickens, they will be able to help so much with this. I highly recommend you join. How are you chickens doing? Did you figure out what was happening?
I was thinking of maybe trying to drill holes in some mini, 1 gallon buckets. The only problem I have with these balls is, if rain gets in them, there is that little bit of grain left in there that you can't get out. Then, the rain gets the grain wet, and it molds, and you can't clean the ball...
Hey everyone! I have recently purchased 2 treat balls of amy horses, to use, while in there pasture. Since we can't ride all of them at he same time, it is a good boredom buster while they are waiting for there herd to return. I loved the design! It was perfect and the horses love them! The only...
