When I pulled it out of the original pot the roots were packed pretty hard, so I'm startin to think that might be what the issue is possibly (still pretty new to all sorts of growing)
I snipped off a few lil bits and gonna try to get new cuttings going cause of the questionable status of the plant
@sumi
That was a pretty good read! I dont know how old the plant Is entirely, i know at least 5ish months that I've seen it around (before it wound up in the trash :( ) and am quite intrigued it only blooms at night! That will make for a quite interesting experience if I ever see flowers on it~
Rescued a drsgonfruit cactus from the trash, trimmed off lots funky, rotted and dead looking parts off while supporting it, were it's at is not its final settlement, but it will remain potted :)
Anyone grow dragon fruit? Any tips? I've watched a few videos, but many sources give many options :)

! Glad I found this out now! I was gonna plant the whole tube when I get home from work lol
There was good lush greenness, no blooms ever showed up and then the entire plant died. In honesty I thought I might've over watered it or the temp got too hot. They were being grown in a plastic tub...

Psh not hoarding, just collecting! :hide ;)
I've been wanting to collect extra seeds, but find myself making packs for friends and acquaintances who want to try their hand at gardening. Also One of the local libraries takes seeds too and packs them so those who can't buy seeds can 'check them...
I know this is an older post but you Lucky ducky! I got about 7 oz. Of alpaca for a birthday gift 2 years ago, it was super lovely and I enjoyed spinning it! It was so soft and smooth, like spinning butter almost! I can't wait to be able to get more someday!
If you haven't already I'd say...
Agree with others, might want an added smellys, lard has a 'porky' and bacony smell from experience but not sure if corn oil would smell corny or like what was cooked in it or nothing lol
If its filtered good afterwords don't see why not? Would be similar to lard or bacon fat I'd assume and plenty of folks use that once they've cooked with it. Probably would want to run your recipe through a lye calculator though and go from there
O! I didn't know that it was used as a preservation!! So there could be a beer I like out there! Yay! Would altering the amount of hops mean the recipe cook time would need to change?? I don't have a lot of experience or knowledge for brew stuff, wasn't interested or welcome to assist with...
