I am wondering if any of you helpfull folks might be able to tell me what up with my jam...
the last batch of cranberrie curd jam...seperated a bit on the bottom...thought oh well tastes fine...
then yesterday I canned some apricot amereto jam...
and same thing...this batch may have boiled for...
some people do quite well reselling on ebay...
takes time sure...
but aditional revenue sources are good...
not that i don't completely support your generous giving spirit..
I have had many cheap dehydrators over the years....the coil thing at the bottom would often go when cleaning.(did a lot of jerky)..
then I got a nesco.....great for cleaning...
but round and only so many trays...not completely even drying and loud...
last year...went for an excalabur think I...
well it is the time of year for fiddleheads...
in the past I have collected them and it is an easy...scrape...
but the ones around here are quite furry...
honestly seemed like 2 hours...scraping and bearly enough for dinner...
still tons to go...
and as much as I love them...I dont' want to make...
a couple years back I was taking it...
I found...it did help...
I was at a real lack of energy...
it wasn't so much that I felt a pep surge...
but if I missed a day I could sure tell the difference...
it is expensive
but if you can afford it, it is not a bad thing...
but couldn't say if it could...
congrats....
I'm so jealous would like a great slicer...but I have a basic oldie...but does the job..
I am not sure if you are into dehydrating...
but you can use it for perfectly even slicing for even drying times...
eg oranges...
I saved seeds last year...will plant...but mix it up with store bought because...I am not sure if all are herloom...
will be an experiment...will let ya know...
depends...
I thought we were looking for more space...but ended up taking a 1700 foot...place..
this is a small house...with a garage and upstairs loft built on...
I am utillizing creating shelving in any possible potential space...And it is way more than enough
for us...layout...and storage...
I would check your gasket...I had something comparable happen...with my old presto...wouldn't heat up to pressure and I ended up opening it up just in time as there wasn.t water...
I ended up upgrading to an All american...and worth every dollar...
but just follow mollie's excellent...
personally, I wouldn't think giving it raw...heard so much out there against raw meat for dogs...
but some still do it...
have you considered canning the meat....
canned meat mixed then stirred in with vegie discards would be a good meal...
canned chicken is wonderfull...
love it...
Yes...just stuff in in the jar...sometimes I put a garlic clove on top...
but it steeps, and creates it's own juices...
you only add broth to cooked...meats...
good luck...
i have only done it with boneless meats myself
