I made a ton of this today. I could not get the apples to cook down. I ended up putting it in the blender for a few secs to get it smooth. My arm was falling off from stirring.
Hubs didn't know what I was canning. There was a tiny bit left in the pot. He spooned it out and ate it. He said...Hey this tastes like carrot cake...what is it?
LOL!! I told him it's Carrot Cake Jam and I grew the cake myself!
