Nothing now, but did 7 1/2 pints of muscadine jelly a couple weeks ago.
We thought it would never set, and started calling it muscadine syrup. It finally set.
That was all that we had left growing - one vine didn't produce and this was all off one. We got it in before the birds and such got it...
It was an interesting show, probably record other eps and watch it.
Loved your husband's hovercraft and wish we had classes like that at our local school.
But what funny accents
We tell her that she will use the clothesline. Dryer is off limits except in special circumstances such as rain and having to have some clothes soon. There is no negotiation. She is also told to only wash full loads of laundry.
She has tried to use the rain clause to her advantage. She...
These two kids of mine have been expected to do at least some for themselves since being small. They have to do their own laundry, clean up after themselves, all that. DD does help cook supper, and DS does sometimes help with the yard work. DD has also helped with lawn and garden, and DS has...
They do it in Tibet, don't they? Goats grazing on sod roofs?
I understand there is some touristie restuarant or some such in No GA that has goats on their roof.
I think I would still think about some sort of sand filter or settling tank - even tho those really only work well with particulates. Maybe your soap is designed to settle or otherwise go inert very easily, so maybe a settling tank would be the thing.
I did an experiment with gray water when I...
Other than the goat, it looks a lot like some of my neighbors - the lair of the Great Southern Ogre.
Well, they didn't have any garden type plants, either - just weeds. He was also considerably larger than the guy in the commercial

When I was a boy scout I had the last of the old school scoutmasters...
Thanks. Your post does point out to me that I am VERY LUCKY in the partner I have now.
I was once shackled to a terrible partner, even worse than you describe.
You are all right, I know it.
Problem is past history. As any who have read some of my posts can guess, bad times are behind us. This had a certain effect on the kids.
There is also the issue of my own mistakes with them. In the past I always found it easier to just do it myself rather than...
I sure would like some feedback on this.
My family is, at best, lukewarm to any of my projects and ideas on self-sufficiency. DW has expressed her support, but nothing more than that. She always praises every project I embark on - praises them too much. I am feeling rather patronized, to be...
Don't run slugs through that full choke barrel. Full choke means there is a bit of taper, or the inside of the barrel actually narrows down a bit. You can see the problem pushing a solid slug through that. Buckshot will do fine in it, though. This is also a good barrel for shooting light...
