Thanks everyone, freezer it is! I usually do the dried beans- but when I saw this gigantic can, I just had to have it!!

Remember- anything labeled "organic" is not allowed to contain GMO's. I feed organic layer pellets, for that reason (among others.) You might have to call around to find it. My local Agway, orders it for me. And yes, it is twice as much as non-organic. 23.00 per 50 pound bag.

You don't have to do anything fancy with them. They are great added as a topping to salads. I used to mush them up and make a kind of sandwich spread with them. Can't see why you couldn't use them, as you would any bean (soups, etc.)
