I'm not opposed to a snare. I just need the little sucker gone!! Between the deer and the rabbits my shrubs and bushes are a mess. I thought about setting a live trap near one of the exit/entrance tunnels but don't want to accidentally trap a skunk (of which there are PLENTY!)
Will have to...
I have a rabbit who has moved in under my back deck. Cute little sucker but destructive as well. It and no doubt a few of it's friends have mangled the bushes surrounding the deck and side of my house. What is the best way to trap the rabbit?
The deck is low to the ground and I can see...
I like it :thumbsup and now I want one!!!
My sad little compost bin fell apart...it was crudely fashioned from wooden fence slats and chicken wire. This design would be so easy to keep stirred up and looks easy to dump out too.
Thanks for sharing!
I love the "domesticated skirt" pattern!! Gonna have to hit the fabric stores and make one for myself. I like the contrasting fabric look...give it more character than a plain single pattern skirt!
Right after my youngest was born in 2003, I spent several weeks making simple A-line skirts...
I was planning on selling laundry soap powder as well. Once I research how, I'd like to add softener too.
The community market is geared towards yuppies who like living in the city but want to be as green as possible!! They are my target audience. I would also put them on craigslist...
I made a few of these for myself 2 years ago and had the bright idea I could sell them at the community market. What do you think?
I can make 1 bag for $1.57, and am guessing I can lower that cost by searching out cheaper sources for the kids' hangers and cheaper material.
I was thinking of...
How funny...I was just thinking about switching from paper towels to bar rags then I saw this post!! We use bar rags at work (commercial kitchen) and it dawned on me that I could eliminate our nasty paper towel consumption by using them at home!!
I like the idea of a shammy for it's...
Love the idea! Will have to spend an afternoon making crusts. Storage question....how are you all storing them in your freezer? Flat and stacked or upright? Any breakage problems?
I felt so bad for the first girl...She got out on the first round!!
Then they made all the contestants sit on the stage in the back row till it was over.
My girls are in public school for the first time this year. Last night both competed in the county spelling bee. It was for 40 kids grades 4th thru 8th. My youngest daughter was one of the only two 4th graders and did really well considering the difficulty of the words was dropping 8th...
I think we'd leave Ohio altogether. My BIL says there are manufacturing jobs galore in the Cincy area but if we're gonna move, we're headed for warmer weather and better scenery!! We've heard Tennessee is nice and have friends in Nashville. Not sure what the job market is in the outlaying...
The whole situation is nuts. My hubby is as frustrated as I am but his dad doesn't have anywhere to go nor any money to get there.
It wouldn't be so bad if he's just LISTEN to us!! He asks questions about things and how he should proceed then two days later when the topic comes up again he...
UGH!! My father-in-law came here to Ohio for a 2-3 week *visit* back in June....and he's still here!!!
He used to live up here and after a hurricane destroyed his Mom and sister's house he went down there to help rebuild. He'd been down there 5 years. All of his worldly possession had been...
My brother gave me a washer and dryer set that is fairly new from the house they just bought. I was planning on Freecycling my old set which is at least 17 years old and has a few issues. The safety switch which stops the spin cycle when the lid is up is broken.
The old set has been sitting...
I started out by using an online charter school (please no bashing me, I DO realize it is a form of public school). I personally liked it as a tool to get organized and form a game plan for the years to come. Plus as a first year homeschooler we were not fully prepared for the outrageous cost...
I brought home 4 quarts of tomato soup from my work that would have been tossed out in a few days, plus 9 grilled chicken breasts, and enough sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast tomorrow!!
