Still looking to trade or sale these items!
Make an offer!
A freeze did kill off my chocolate mint though... so it'll probably come back in another month or so haha
I'm saving up for a shop light to grow some seedlings, still not sure where and how I'm going to set it up though..
Who starts their garden early? And does anyone have pictures of their set up? I'm looking for some inspiration, especially from those who have small set-ups!
Planning on planting...
That's what I kind of meant, because I know there aren't many people here yet, and you never know, maybe it would draw more people in.
I'm okay with posting in the everything else forum for now, though, until there is more interest.

Meat and other perishables can probably be smoked or dehydrated by the sun, or even canned on a open fire possibly until power comes back on.
Solar ovens would probably come in handy.
Right now, I'm not sure how long I would last personally. My MIL and FIL would probably know what to do better...
I agree with you simple life, I have several friends back in El Paso that "garden." They have like Aerogardens but have no plan to use the plants they grow.
While in some places it's considered a trend, I think many people will still be relying on the supermarkets for food, but they may still...
I've saved my seeds from last year and traded my extras.
This year might be bigger, but I'm going to definitely have more herbs and warmer weather veggies because I moved to the South.
I'm glad I saved seeds because it means my husband's parents don't have to buy plants this spring.
I'm going...
I've never heard of Beemaster or Beesource. I know of a different one, but there's not many people on it yet.
I know what you mean reinbeau, but I would rather not use the same password for every forum, just because if someone figures out what my password is for one, then they'll know them all...
I guess your right about some of those topics, but I think the rest should be added. I like the idea of going to a single forum for questions and sharing of ideas. This kind of website could support those topics and then for more indepth questions members can be suggested to visit those other...
Another thing to think about is, what if it's not what you think it is, or if he maybe got confused about the kind of fence you wanted.
Maybe he wasn't sure how much you wanted to cover exactly, it could just be the beginnings of a fence.
I say wait until Christmas to see what it is, like...

I'm pretty much the worst chickener ever.. I probably should have waited until spring or had my own place to get them.
I'm pretty impatient though.
First, the hatching eggs I bought never hatched, so the person hatching them for me gave me some chickens...

Sorry I haven't been online for a bit.
I'm not really sure what you mean, but you don't have to know how to knit to learn from this book.
I was pretty much taught from this book.

I like these magazines:
Giant Robot, Mother Earth News, Organic Gardening, Grit, and Hobby Farms!

I don't really subscribe to them, but I'm thinking about getting online subscriptions for the ones that offer it to save paper and so I actually get an issue every month! When I was a little...
Any kind of herb is great for growing inside! Rule of thumb is basically make sure you are going to use the herb and make sure it's in a well lit place!

I posted this in the Solar Power section in the thread about solar ovens, but want to pass this on.
It's a great website and there is a self sufficient blogger sharing a 10% off coupon.
