i can give you the info for the lady who i got these chicks from over on the NH/VT line
she will be glad to ship you some eggs any time you like
many of those so called english orp eggs on ebay are only 50% or maybe even less
so watch out for those scam artists
piglett
so it now looks like i'll need 2 runs & 2 coops come breading time.
got to keep my buff orpington roos away from my new english stock so i don't end up with strange looking chicks.:D
piglett
hello all i'm looking for a quality hatchery that is not too far from the northeast US
that way the chicks don't have too far to be shipped
who here has gotten baby chicks ??
i'm loking for 50 straight run buff orpingtons come the 1st or 2nd week of June
thanks for your help in advance...
i don't know jack about goats but i myself would tie her so she can't run out on me 1/2 way through the milking.
now please note that i am a truck driver not any kind of farmer,
however when i have a load on my flatbed i chain or tie it down so it stays put till i'm ready for it to come off...
well i do have one but no goats to tie to it , maybe i need to change that
either scrap the old dozer or buy a goat.:D
i have soooo many bushes around here that goat would be in heaven
good luck
piglett
well that sounds like a fine price to me for both!
i guess you & moma goat will have to get all of this worked out
maybe she is just testing you :) :barnie
good luck
piglett
well once mine grow out some i plan on 2 roosters for my buff orpington pen & 2 more in my english orpington pen.
any others i end up with will either get sold or end up in "camp"
why do i want to feed a big bunch of roos all winter??
i'll pass on that.
piglett
well it was a 4.5 hour round trip to get these littel guys but i have em
they are 75% to 100% english orpingtons
they are about a week old & eating/drinking well.
some of these will end up being black while others will be a blue/grey
english orpingtons also come in splash but those had already...
may i ask how much you had to give for moma & baby?
i'm up in the back woods of NH & they may go for more or less than in your area
but it would give us a ballpark figure as to what they are going for this year
thanks
piglett
