    Anyone else drink raw milk?

I've been curious about this. Do you have to separate the milk out or anything like that or do you just milk the cow and drink the milk like it is? I've been wanting to get a milk goat or two. Are there any health benefits or negatives to drinking raw milk?

    Erin's Journal- Turning Frugal

My jeans tend to rip in the butt where the pockets are sewn in after I've worn them a few years. I can't wear them after that or my under things would be showing so I have to buy all my shorts.

    Erin's Journal- Turning Frugal

Thanks for the welcomes everybody! So, today I set out to be rid of the ink stains in a pair of jeans of mine. I tried using hair spray but it wouldn't come out. So, I thought and decided since holey jeans are in style anyways, I'll just make a hole in the jeans where the ink is! I'm pretty...

How To Remove Ink Stains From A Pair of Jeans?

Thanks for the help guys. I tried the hair spray and it didn't work since the ink is permanent. However, I have thought of something else since the ink isn't coming out. Since holey jeans are in style anyways, I will just make a hole in the jeans where the ink is! The ink spot isn't that big, so...

    SufficientSelf's Chicken Thread!!!

I have 20 chickens. We have bantams as well as a laying flock. We sell both bantam eggs and large eggs for $2.00 a dozen. We have three coops: A broody coop, a coop for the layers, and a bantam house. For the young birds we have gigantic flower pots converted into little coops that we call...

How To Remove Ink Stains From A Pair of Jeans?

I have a really nice pair of jeans with ink stains on them. I can't recall but I figure it was probably a sharpie that did it. Is there any way at all to get the ink out or are these jeans ruined? Thanks in advance for any input you can give me.

Scrounge any good things lately? I did!

I got an insulated dog house for free from my aunt recently. Whoo hoo! I cleaned it up, painted it, took the roof off and added hinges, and turned it into a broody house for my chickens! Here is a picture of the doghouse/chicken coop...

    Neat use for pallets

Wow, that pallet garden is really neat! The idea of a vertical garden is really appealing. I like how some Asian countries make gardens on hills by making it sort of like a gigantic stair case. It is a good use of the land.

    Erin's Journal- Turning Frugal

Well, this is my journal of my journey of turning frugal and self sufficient. I'll start with the questions... 1. What state/province/country are you in and what is your climate like? -I live in Arkansas. We have 4 seasons with temperatures b/t 5 degrees and 112 degrees 2. How many people...
