Canning is a great way to preserve meat. I love it! When I find ground beef on sale I will buy alot of it and fry it up and put it in jars pour boiling water over it and process it in the pressure canner. I just used my last jar this week from what I had canned back in the winter. Time to find...

When I first started canning I didn't want to open my jars of food either. I wanted to have it all sitting on the shelf looking real pretty. I have finally come to realize that we can eat the food we can now..lol..it does make room for empty jars that do need filling and I just love canning...
