Well it's day three of my youngest being sick I guess that means a trip to the Dr . :( poor baby, I haven't really got a lot done today Clean house , make baby some soup (Chicken of course ;) ) Shredded some useless paper for bedding. not a real productive day... I hope she feels better...

Well the butter turned out great Now I'm making some bread to have with it Should be a nice snack later:P And my chickens are Laying again :ya they stopped for like 3 months now can't wait for new chick , the garden , Wishing Spring would get here

Well I making butter I know using a machine is not very SS but It does help I found out if I don't have raw milk I can use Heavy whipping Cream so I'm giving it a shot will let u all know later how it turns out

ok next question I'm a heavy bleeder I wear overnights thick ones all the time on bad days I have changed clothes 4 times so will they work even with that?

Yea My furnace is fixed And I got my Bread and Butter machine today:celebrate now I just need to get some raw milk to make butter or can I use cream?? I don't know I have never maked butter before LOL

Smells Like pig ... or BACON Hey OFG ..its white and creamy not hard there is no list of what kind of fat but by the smell... so that is a good find then since I can't find a way to render my own right now ... i use it just like oil huh. does it measure the same?? 1/2c of lard to 1/2 oil ??

you know it don't say LOL I found it at our local mom and pop store next to the shorting so I though it might be the same thing it says that I don't have to refrigerate it that is all ??

Ok I have 4lbs of lard and if I have been reading right it is a "good Fat" so what can i use it in I have always used veg oil so.... any ideas i know u all have them ;)
