Here was my initial reaction to Sandy Hook:
Here is my new idea:
I haven't heard Waynes speech and really don't agree with most of what the NRAin't does, they all too often compromise our rights where none is needed. I'm sure it spoke volumes and was great PR increasing memberships and...
We may not live here forever but we will certainly own the house forever, it was part of the deal when we inherited it. I'm not going back on that deal, the place is paid for! I am doing a full and very extensive remodel and second story addition sometime in the future but can't even think of...
Yeah, I've kicked that idea around but we are so limited on space already I can't afford to lose any more. Also the only 220 in the kitchen is behind and below the wall unit...We still may go that route and move the wiring if we can't get the parts for this one. I've been trying to get the wife...
I feel your pain. We have a 25yo wall oven with custom cabinetry built around it and it went out sometime around July. I can't even find anything on the market that fits the opening much less the cash to buy it with. I think I know what the problem is and if I can ever even afford a repairman...
As far as lye soap being liquid or solid, the variables include the medium used and the strength of the lye. From my studies I have determined that the stronger the lye, the harder the soap.
Welcome! Home made soap can be liquid OR solid. Sort of off topic a little, but has anyone ever made soap from yucca root? I've heard it is better and safer than lye soap?
There are tons of excellent articles and blog posts on all aspects of armed living and skills there...It is a goldmine of info for those new or uneasy about packing heat.
The Cornered Cat website is fantastic! I recommend it to all the women I train and a lot of the "uneasy" men too! Sounds like you had a great time, wanna call my wife? My birthday is in two months...
Okay, I have about 15lbs of tobacco and a few corncob pipes stored for emergency use or barter if need be. It is pipe cut and in sealed bags, the way it came from the store. Last winter when work slowed down we cut into a bag and finished it off this summer. Well, work is slow again so we cut...
We still get the metal ones. The off brands come in them, you just have to find a brand that you like. I don't drink coffee but my wife does and she buys the big metal cans of "Master Chef" brand. I have dozens of the old ones in the garage filled with nuts, bolts, screws, washers, nails, you...
Oh, don't forget about all the government money (I say this with so much sarcasm that I'm choking on it. The gov. has no money other than what they confiscate from us) they get to make the food into gasoline additives and now "biodiesel"...
YES. These are tenderloins and are the "filet mignon" portion of the animal. The parts of a deer are basically the same as a steer so any beef cut chart will help you determine what is what.
