They're cute. Since Pinky doesn't know how to sew or use a machine she has nothing to compare it to. Plus, she's a youngun'. She'll...
WOW, how cool. I love hearing of folks history and that's the ONE thing about being a Black American that sucks. Our history has been obliterated. But, enough of that, I don't want to hijack the thread. Oh wait, is it MY thread? Shucks, I forgot. :P :lol: Lee claims the Cherokee in his...

Ireland, HOW COOL!! I have a fairytale affinity for the place. Really funny 'cause I'm Black and doubt there are many there. Even gave two of my daughters Irish names. :idunno :celebrate
Geesh, I STILL haven't used mine. Since then we purchased a hand crank for Lee's daughter. Now, I've got to learn to use my treadle AND show her how to use her hand crank AND teach her to sew. ;)
Not a prob., ladies. It's just fun getting this going around here. Hopefully it's the first of many. So many things you can do with swaps: themed and such.

"I'm sorry if I missed this--would I send you a check for $5.95 plus the 5 soaps, then? Thanks! me&thegals"

@saraltx,
Thanks for the update, Chica. We're moving THIS WEEK, finally, so what you've written is encouraging to say the least. Six months, WOW, that was quick. How many people are contributing to yours? We have five people, but the children are at homeschooling location during the day...

Hopefully this is the proper area for this post. I'm just so excited about our latest find. A treadle sewing machine! Prepping to go off grid and move onto our farm we are ISO affordable non-electric items. This was a semi-steal.

Well (deep subject, huh) from reading your post you've got your act together. What else is there to say about it except buena suerte! :thumbsup
We are looking into having both (I want goats milk for our soaps), but you make a compelling argument. Darn it, I wish dairy cows were the same price...
Swappers,
We have six folk wanting to play with us, :thumbsup! Two more days and we close out do you know anyone wanting to spread their soaping wings and join us? The cool thing about an Anything Goes Swap is that it is all about fun and comraderie. If you are new to soapmaking, want to...
