Well here it is. Time has slipped away from me again. Mom is home and doing better from what the docs say, but she seems to be feeling less like doing anything at all. I totally understand (don't get me wrong) but now I have 2 households to keep running.
I got a chance to make spaghetti...
I did the wet diaper pail method. I washed about every 3 -4 days. My pail (trash can with set on/pop up lid) I filled with cold water and baking soda. I washed the solids in the potty using the swirl and dunk method. Then put all diapers in the pail. On wash day I put everything (water and...
So excited for you. Your mobile home looks almost like ours, except that ours still has the washer and dryer in the hall. Our plan is sometime to find a stack washer and dryer and then use the extra space for a closet for our outside work clothes. Right now we have a coat rack on the wall...
Jason - so sorry to hear about the tragedy you and your family are going through. No one should have to experience things of that nature. But also remember that if God brings you to it, he will see you through it.
I think that you finding a new church family will be a great help. Lean on...
So sorry about E's family and hope that you two can remain strong. Sometimes doing the right thing and following through with justice is hard, but also know that doing it will bring you some relief and happiness.
Also remember that we get a chance to pick our friends and not our families. So...
Sorry about the latrine duty, but at least you have it early in the week. Maybe not as bad as it could get.
Hope the rest of the week is inspecting the fans and testing the water temperature duty.

Glad o hear justice is in the air! and yes I too have thought about jumping the fence. But then i realized that when i need quilting supplies, it would take me 4 hours to get to a fabric store and with the heat index this week over 110, I would never make it, LOL!
Also poo-pooing the idea of...
If it was me I would have to take a weeks reprive before posting even after getting back from camp! Hope you all have a great time and that DS gets in a little swimming!
Sheila
Sorry to hear about the hawk and your babies! Yeah a 30.06 otta do the job, LOL.
Great idea on the blank news print. I go to the paper office the day the paper comes out and they will give me the left overs from last weeks issue and I use them in the garden to try and kill out the weeds!
Sheila
Boy thank you all so much for the prayers and kicks in the hinney, LOL. I appreciate both so much. Sorry if I sounded whiney and down, i really didn't mean the message to come across that way. Things can always be worse and I keep that thought in the back of my mind. Meaning rejoice in the...
Well it has been a long time since I have updated, but have been trying to keep up with you all by reading time to time.
When it rains it seems to pour and that is when I start to question my endurance. Don't know if I told you all but my Mom has emphysema/COPD and is also fighting breast...

Farm - I totally feel you pain. It seems when there is a perfect beautiful day than that is when Mom and Dad seem to need help. Like you said today was a perfect Missouri summer day and I had my weekly cleaning job.
Tommorrow is supposed to be nice so maybe we both can get outside.
Sheila
okay this is going to sound strange but take the leg of the pantyhose and cut them in 1 inch strips. Like cut the toe off and then in 1 inch strips from toe to crotch so that you end up with many circles of panyhose. I can get about 20 - 30 ties from a pair of pantyhose. Makes them go much...
I don't know what is going on and don't need to. That is your business. Just remember to stay strong and have faith in the Lord and you will come out with flying colors. Prayers for you and your family going up also.
Sheila
Tanks - Yes we have been having to water our garden also. ANd I am trying to do battle with both the striped and spotted cucumber beetle. Both of which seem to be winning. Have lost all the cucumbers except 2 and they don't look good.
We I went to the resale store to look for a one piece...
You just did win. Teaching him that you don't need the junk that everyone tries to sell you and that if he saves his money he can by something better that he will like longer. He may not see the lesson now but he will thank you for it in the future.
Okay I for one was terrified of power...
