    Now a Cotton Wick Shortage!

    Maybe the stores are still trying to restock some products.. with all the bad winter weather and storms we have had resently...during december walmarts here ran out of small propane bottles and lamp oil. took about 7 to 10 days before they was restocked.

    Hummers have arrived!

    I've had my feeders out for about two weeks. So far only have had three show up.. Last year we had around 16. So glad to see them back.

    punkin i read about your snake. Yikes! I dont like them. LOL Your son looks very nice in his tux.... I remember my son and older daughter dressing up for Prom.. thought i was through with all that but i have a 3 yr old daughter now so looks like i am gonna be going through it again:)

    ok Farmfresh and Beekissed i will do my best.. sounds like fun. My garden this morning is flooded.. we have had lots of rain the last 48 hours here in Northeastern Oklahoma.. flooding all around us.. but this wont set me back.. i will just replant when it drys up.. :)

    I need natural toothpaste help!

    I remember my grandmother using baking soda to brush her teeth with.. and once in awhile when she would find a sweetgum tree... she would cut some some twigs to make her little brushes to clean her teeth with..when she past away at the age of 88 she still had all her teeth....yeap ...pretty...

    Do you save your bacon fat?

    Bacon Grease is a god send... always using it in something..from green beans to macaroni and tomatoes and add some when making biscuits from scratch.. always got to have some bacon grease around.. i keep it in a jar by my stove..with a lid on it.
