Not sure what you are asking.....how to find a good goat? What you need for housing and fencing? Are you looking for meat, dairy, brush-clearing, pet?

I actually prefer the setup of TGS compared to the Backyard series setup myself.

For alot of people I think any goat site is better than none, I've seen alot of people on BYC with malnurished and deficit goats because they don't know the proper care needed. But thats a whole different story :p

Edit:
Maybe they should merge one of the goat sites so that way Nifty doesn't need to make a new one.

Backyard Pheasants should be covered over in BYC under other poultry, there just isn't the demand for a separate forum - but I think you knew that.

Backyardgoats.com is owned by someone who won't sell it, Rob has tried. He is working on this, patience, grasshoppers!
