Coffee! It’s a nice day today, cloudy, high of 85. Supposed to be rainy the rest of the week.
@The Porch I’m sorry your husband is having pain in his hip.
I agree. It’s the same spray pattern it was before I took it in to be fixed. They fixed a different leak. LOL It’s not as bad of a spray pattern, but it’s still there.
Coffee is ready! I got my truck back Saturday! My sister in law drove it home for me, I followed in my car. Sunday morning I walked past the front of my car, going to church, and saw droplets all over the front of it. Phooey. Truck is still leaking, probably oil. They found a leak and fixed it...
Your scent is a comfort to him, hence the dirty clothes.
I had a cat get snakebit one time. His head swelled up like a grapefruit. He slept on my bed on some dirty clothes for several days. That’s where he wanted to be while he felt so bad.
Energy self sufficiency…….. I live in East Texas where the heat is scorching and the humidity is in the stratosphere. I just pay the electric bill.
Coffee is good, on second cup. I’m finally finished with chickens. I’ll deliver 40 on Wednesday.

I got 2” of rain out of that storm and another inch of rain yesterday. A day or two of sunshine generally dries it up. The dirt road I live on gets muddy, pools water and potholes. Sometimes there is logging going on and the big trucks pulverize the road. Jasper gets a lot of rain too, and is...
Coffee is ready. Finished chicken processing yesterday. Have to clean up coolers, Clorox and open them up to sun dry. Finally done with chickens, now to turn my attention to other farm things.
I got the rest of the chickens in the freezer yesterday. I put the TV on 70’s rock and roll and be-bopped, danced and sang along. It sure made chicken processing easier! No more chickens, all done! I’ll give the final report after I deliver them.
I got all 22 chickens on ice Monday, plus one itty bitty chicken that never grew. I’ll drop it in a pot and cook for the dogs. I was exhausted. A friend came over and we killed a bottle of wine. I was still sore, but no longer cared.
I got only 6 chickens in the freezer yesterday and ran out...
I will finish chickens this week. Tentative delivery is Saturday. One dead one Saturday morning, 22 left. Gulping down last of coffee, then out the door to do chores and get chickens on ice.
