2 Tbsp Whole Flax Seeds

Pure Aloe Vera Gel, if desired
Few drops of essential oil for scent, optional

First off, thanks Farm for all of your help a while back! I line my molds, which are dishpans, cardboard boxes, rectangular drawer organizers, etc., with plastic wrap, dump the soap in, bang it a few times to get rid of the bubbles and fold the edges of the wrap over the soap surface. If I am...
I was going along really well with the baking soda/cornstarch/coconut oil mixture for about a year and WHAM! It stopped working, not sure why. But, I can not be sporting the B.O. stank at my job so back to deodorant. Drat.
Our pug is at a good weight for her at about 18 pounds. She is female and black colored. The girls run a little lighter weight than the males and blacks tend to be smaller than fawns. I have seen 30 pound fawns, but at that weight, they were super fat and appeared to have trouble walking. I try...
Here is my 2 cents: Go back to the ED or see your regular doc ASAP. He/She may want to change the type of inhaler that you are on and modify your meds. Make sure to mention when you call for an appointment that you are short of breath, and any pain that you may be experiencing when breathing -...
Lard is cheapest for me, so that is what I use. Not sure how much it really matters in terms of cleaning power. All I know is that the clothes are clean. Now, if I could only make a bar of soap that would fold everything and put it away...
If you know a soaper, have them make up a batch of 0% superfatted lard/lye for you. I used to buy FN, but started making my own laundry bar to grate up. I make about 5# at a time. Pour it into a cardboard box lined with a garbage bag.
I do not feed commercial dog food either. Dr. Richard Pitcairn's Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats has been very useful. He has a lot of recipes for food and supplements -raw and cooked.
Our latest addition had really stinky skin when we got her, especially when her coat was wet - that...
I am sure you can leave that little bit out. I make a cream similar to this for myself:
1/4 teaspoon borax
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup olive oil, or oil of your choice
1/2 ounce (by weight) of grated beeswax (2 slightly rounded tablespoons)
Dissolve the borax in the water. Set aside.
Combine the oil...
Re batched the 4% for non-laundry use. I made a 4 pound batch of laundry soap with about 0% super fat. Have been using it already and it works great. Now I won't have to purchase the Fels. Thanks for the help!
