    Egg Hatching

Sounds like it's going well! I'm dealing with shipped eggs from two different shippers...always a gamble. Looks like one hatch will be productive and the other one not so much. Few more days and I'll know for sure.

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

Absolutely! Love my cole crops. Never been successful with fall tomatoes though - I'll give it another try this year and see what happens. Plans for winter are to cover the screen house with plastic and see if I can have a winter greenhouse. Might put my 'maters in there. The screen house...

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

It may be but I'm going to try. I tucked a couple seeds into a big ol' tub today so time will tell. Tomorrow, if it's not raining, I'll take the old squash plants out of that bed and try to figure out something else to put there. Wonder what some late planted corn would do? Burn up maybe...

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

Graduation was good! It rained yesterday for a couple hours stopping just long enough for me to feed the critters. At that point we had 2.5 inches. Started again after dark and by this morning there was 6 inches in the gauge and lotsa puddles. Ugh. Had to move a round bale today. I'm still...

What did you do in your garden today?

Mowed, weeded and harvested yesterday. Purple Dove beans are delicious! Also picked a couple golden zucchini. I'm late staking up my tomatoes but started yesterday - need to finish up today. The screen house is doing it's job so far and I've got lotsa green tomatoes. No stink bugs!

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

Whew - it was a fast trip - but good! Up and back home in 27 hours. Almost ten of those hours were spent driving. Ugh! All of that to watch the graduation ceremony and have a 2-hour lunch. Not nearly enough time with them but I wouldn't have missed it for anything! Quality time with son...

Meeting myself coming and going lately. DH's sister comes in today. She'll get a marathon course in keeping a severe diabetic alive. I'm making notes to leave everywhere! We will add her to the "follow" app so she can get alerts on her phone if his blood glucose is out of the safe...
