Peach jam put off -- peaches need a couple more days to ripen. The potatoes, 5 qt, are "dry" canned. No water added. Plus I scrubbed, spot trimmed, didn't peel. First time this way. They all sealed nicely and I'm sure they cooked! Will open one and decide if I like this finish better...

Today I have a canner of potatoes in Qt jars started. Prepping free peaches while those cook. Making a few jars of jam. It'll be a nice change of taste from other jams on the shelves.

I microwave the peels 🤫 then toss to them.

And in the beginning 😄 yeah, home from scratch.
