Just got an email from Lehmans.

Yeah, generated image, but I love me some Lehman's. Weekend crowds are crazy, would have to take a vacation day to drive over.

Used to be a regional potato chip factory on the way. They had a small showroom out front where you could buy samples of new flavors they were testing. You could buy 5 pound bags of chips for parties, receptions, etc , for dirt cheap. They sold out to a national producer, now they just crank out the same boring national brand recipe and closed the store

Im on their email list because I do order from them occasionally. Lids are made in china unfortunately.

We made it to their physical store once when visiting hubby's uncle in Ohio. I have a 2 gallon bail mason jar I still use the heck out of I got there

Been a busy week at work. Not much going on here.

Last Thursday night we had some heavy rain - very little lightning and wind. Rain gauge said 3.5 inches, got it all in about 45 minutes .

that sounds like what went through here. it was very narrow storm, but it lined right up on this area and dumped for about that long.

i have algae growing in some low spots in some gardens - i've not seen that very often.

the place we love for their potato chips doesn't have a retail storefront but they do ship and have plenty of distributors... recently they came out with cheddar cheese flavor and we've enjoyed a few bags. very thick and crunchy. Great Lakes Potato Chip company in Traverse City MI. going like gangbusters. they've pretty much spoiled me for potato chips by anyone else. the thing is, i normally do not even like potato chips - Mom gets them because she likes them and i started nibbling a few. oops.

Thanks for the info. Honestly it's very hard to find a brand of potato chip I will eat. Sure I can eat any brand of potato chip, but I don't. Most all have atleast one ingredient that makes me very ill. I stay absolutely away from those ingredients. Because I don't like to be ill.

These chips seem simple, good and clean as far as ingredient list goes (for me) anyways. I suspect they are delicious.

P.S. Yes I am a guy and yes I absolutely read ingredients. I know it's shocking, isn’t it?

Reading I ingredients -- that great!! For many it's life or death, allergies and such. For everyone it's best. The chemicals put into stuff is appalling. That's one of the reasons we see sooo many health issues today.

Then I see, every day, this or that "causes or contributes to" the big A... Alzheimer's. If you'd eat as the good Lord intended & provided, you'd have the cure.

On to a better day!! Heavy fog at get up but, the sun is here and clearing things up. 👍 Another hot, muggy week coming. Light rain days close to daily, yard mowing iffy  :barnie I see 2 days of job work to do. That's fine, I've been home a lot.

I've been feeding my husband for over 35 years. Homemade, little processed, healthy.

His dementia is inherited from his Mom, who had Alzheimer's and passed from it at 75 years old. His other three brothers got their Dad's bad gene - they've all had prostate cancer. Which is what their Dad passed from cus he ignored it and it spread through out his body.
